The "ATLAS" of Vikki V.

Vikki V was in the first issue and has been very busy, this bassist turned hip-hop artist has been tearing up the underground scene and is coming into her very own.  She has just released her first full album called "ATLAS" that pushes the limits of hip-hop from a female.  Her sharp to tongue and wit brings her songs to the next level. Her single "Won't See You Again" is one of the best songs on the album and has a video that will blow your mind. A very strong song that has the potential to become a anthem for young people who have ever been through pain emotionally,  it's a great song. Her credentials are pretty good with work done with Gyndhousz (John Legends cousin) and has been topping OurStages and Reverbnation charts along the way. Last year she appeared in "Occupy The Streets District 2" mixture  hosted by Quincy Taylor Big Heff, Founder of The Ohio Hip Hop Awards. Her singles Run It Like A Boss and You Got Me have been on Coast2Coast Top Indie 50. She is becoming a household name in music and breaking all the rules a long the way. You can find Vikki V at www.vikkiv.com as well as her album "Atlas" on iTunes and check her out on Reverbnation as well on Facebook,  Twitter!

The "Dark City" The Destruction of Johnstown Pa!

I grew up in Johnstown Pa I was born in Pittsburgh,  I came to Johnstown via adoption. Johnstown was a great place to grow up, I have made a lot of friends here and great memories.  My family is from here mostly and I have seen a change in our once strong city. I don't know how or when it happened but it happened.  A darkness has clouded our city and it seems that some people stand by and watch it. What can save our city and inspire our youth? You can create programs for youth to intrigue their senses to more artistic tastes, like art. There is one thing that the world has in common and that is everyone loves music. It doesn't matter what kind it is music touches everyone. I believe through music and positive influences it can become a great city once again. Johnstown has a shooting every other week it's getting crazy out there. Through music I think it can get better with the groups that are out there, I would love to see a concert with various types of music come  together.  More opportunities need to be available for our youth to explore and expand their creativity so they can put all their focus and energy on something that helps them not hurts them. Music is what we do that can bring positive vibes what are your talents that you can use? We challenge you to step up and fight take your city back!
